9 Romantic Spots for Valentine’s Day in Paris

Jan 31, 2025

It’s February, and you know what that means. Valentine’s day is only a few weeks away and, whether you love it or hate it, there’s no denying that romance is in the air. And lucky you, you’re spending it in Paris, one of the most passionate cities on Earth! We’ve put together a list of romantic recommendations around the city to make your date planning that much easier.

2E Arrondissement: La Table des Caves Legrand

Vibe: Upscale French

Why we love it: Le Comptoir et les Caves Legrand is old-school classy. Les Caves Legrand have been doing what they do for nearly 150 years, so you can be sure you’ll have the perfect bottle of classic French wine to pair with your fancy and delicious meal. And to top it all off, the restaurant is located in Galerie Vivienne, one of the more beautiful covered passages of Paris.

3E Arrondissement: Bar Nouveau

Vibe: Art Nouveau Meets Intimate Cocktail Bar

Why we love it: Bar Nouveau is fun and experimental, offering high quality and super creative drinks in their teeny tiny space (only about 12 people can be seated at once - which adds to its magic!). Open from mid-afternoon onward, this is also a great option for a super creative and delicious hot drink or simply a nice and early apéro - or both!

6E Arrondissement: Cravan

Vibe: Fresh and Fun

Why we love it: Another intimate space, Cravan is known for its natural wine, cocktails, and small plates. Great for a more casual evening with top-tier food and drink while stepping back in time to an epoch long-lost. If there was one thing we’d go for here, it’s one of their signature cocktails.

7E Arrondissement: Soirée Love at the Rodin Museum

When? Friday, February 14th from 7PM to 11PM.

Where? The Musée Rodin

Tickets here

Vibe: Festive and cultural

Why we love it: We love it for its uniqueness! How quintessentially Parisian does this sound: an evening of romantic immersion, exploring one of Paris’ most iconic collections of passion and sensuality. There will be music. There will be poetry. There will be dancing. There will be food. Setting the stage in one of our favorite museums dedicated to one of our favorite French artists guarantees that it will be an ambiance like no other in the city of love and light!

10E Arrondissement: Faubourg Diamant

Vibe: Vegan Haut-Cuisine

Why we love it: This one’s for our vegans out there but, if you’re not vegan, don’t shy away from Faubourg Diamant. The food is amazing, the wine and cocktails are top notch, and the ambiance is light and airy. Everything you need for an evening out with the person you love most.

11E Arrondissement: Fifty Fifty

Vibe: Intimate and warm

Why we love it: 50/50 will win you over as another one of the tiniest bars you’ve ever set foot in, but don’t be deterred. If you can snag a seat on the classy velour couch or the comfy seats around it, you’re in for a special evening. The staff is welcoming and excellent, the cocktails are creative, and they nail the classics, too.

16E Arrondissement: Andia

Vibe: Magical and Festive

Why we love it: If you’re looking for an amazing meal in the middle of nowhere (aka, the 16e arrondissement), Andia will treat you right. For lovers of meat, this restaurant brings a festive atmosphere and the taste of the Andes to Paris. During the day, Andia is bright and fun, and in the evening its ambiance is low-light and intimate. The service is wonderful, and you’ll want to linger the whole evening.

19E Arrondissement: Le Grand Bain

Vibe: Lively and welcoming

Why we love it: Okay, yes, this is technically 100 meters into the 20e arrondissement, but we’re including it because it’s not to be missed, and while we have several fantastic coffee shop recommendations, beer houses, and strolls for you in the 19e, the restaurant scene picks up the further south we go. Le Grand Bain is a small sharing plates restaurant, with natural wine, low lighting, a super fun team, and a massive terrace in the summer months. Their menu regularly shifts with the season, and you’re in the perfect area for a night out after. Kissproof, anyone?

20E Arrondissement: Amagat

Vibe: Soft yet spicy

Why we love it: Imagine a warmly lit restaurant but without an atmosphere so quiet you feel you need to whisper - that’s the vibe at Amagat. The food is so good, you’ll want to stay here all night with a vibrant menu inspired by northern Spanish cuisine. You’re promised a great time, every time, at Amagat.
